I had Bell’s palsy. Dr. Barry Marks was recommended to me by a co-worker whose daughter had Bell’s palsy a couple of years ago. The daughter was back to normal in just a few visits.
I set my appointment with him within a day after I got Bell’s palsy. Within the first week, I was seeing noticeable improvement. By week two, I was 98% back to normal.
If you get Bell’s palsy, be sure to see Dr. Marks right away. Your recovery will be a lot quicker if you see him as soon as the Bell’s palsy occurs.
IMO–pricing was fair, affordable and worth every penny. So happy not to have a crooked face anymore.

I have been seeing Dr. Marks for a year now and he has helped my neck improve dramatically. I have suffered from cervicogenic headaches for over 20 years and have seen 5 different chiropractors during that time.
Dr. Marks is the only chiropractor who actually explained why I’m feeling pain, what exacerbates it, the degree of my current condition, and what will inevitably happen if I decide to do nothing about it. He is the only chiropractor who laid out a plan and a time frame I could expect to see results as long as my visits were consistent and I did the at-home exercises.
I went from having headaches almost daily to having one or two a month. Dr. Mark’s is kind, knowledgeable, and thorough; I never feel rushed through an appointment and he always answers any questions I have.

My mom has been going to Dr. Marks for some time now. He has been treating her for her peripheral neuropathy. Since her treatment her pain and discomfort has diminished significantly.
Dr. Marks and his staff are always attentive to my mom and her needs and have been very accommodating with her varying schedule. Dr. Marks was very thorough with his examination and noticed certain details other doctors had not.

“My husband and I were in a car accident in February of 2012. I first went to a chiropractor who was recommended to us by a friend. The referral doctor didn’t take x-rays and just asked me a few questions before beginning her adjustments. I didn’t feel as though there was a progress plan, and there was certainly no convenience of location or hours. She didn’t even realize that I was suffering from a concussion. I was in excruciating pain and knew that I had to find help. I then went to the internet and started my search for a chiropractor who had expertise in treatment after an auto accident. He’s probably the nicest man on the planet. Seriously. Such a sweet guy who’s very caring about his patients and knowledgeable about his field. He made me feel really comfortable being at his office, despite being rather nervous. He not only helped to relieve me of the pain I’d been feeling since the accident, but he also went the extra mile to help me out by explaining how to handle my case. To top of a really great experience, I didn’t have to pay a dime because the other person’s insurance covered the entire thing.
There’s not a single negative thing I can say. Even his office is really nice! I’m so grateful for all the help Dr. Marks provided for me and I cannot thank him enough. I certainly hope I don’t ever need his services again, but if I do, I won’t hesitate to come back!

Chiropractors go through more training than MD’s in the following categories: Anatomy, Physiology, Neurology, X-ray and Orthopedics!! So overall hours a D.C. is trained often exceeds that of a regular MD- crazy!!

I just wanted to say I’ve hiked up a mountain, slid down a rock slide, moshed at a rock concert, crashed my skateboard in the road, also walk every day at least two miles with a full backpack, and do your workout routine guideline you set me up with me twice a week. I mostly use him to fix joint injuries I incur through intensive workouts and martial arts. I came to Dr. Marks after I found out about the DRX9000 on-line. I wanted to find someone local where I could try this. At the time my back pain was really bothering me. Everything I did I noticed the pain. I couldn’t do many things, like exercise, lift objects, or anything that active. I would question if I wanted to go to the mall with my wife because the walking would irritate my back pain.
After going through the program at Dr. Marks’ office I am back to doing active physical activities and I don’t feel limited in any way except heavy lifting. I did overdo it once since I’ve gotten better and caused myself to feel slight sensations where my pain used to be. But luckily it’s very slight compared to what I once felt.

Kristin’s Story
The first time I learned what back pain was I was in Jr. High School. I grew seven inches the year I turned twelve. My knees hurt, my neck hurt and my back hurt. I had no injuries so my mother and doctor told me they were just “growing pains”. I probably should have gone to a chiropractor.
They were just growing pains so I got used to them. I learned to just ignore the pain when I hurt. I went through High School and the pain didn’t bother me, but I slouched a lot. It just seemed more comfortable than sitting up straight. Mom nagged, “stand up straight.” But I always got tired and ended up slouching anyway. I probably should have gone to a chiropractor.
By the time I got to college my back started to bother me again. First, I thought it was stress. Then, I thought it was the mattress. I took Yoga classes. I got inserts for my shoes. These were temporary fixes, but overall, I didn’t feel any better. I probably should have gone to a chiropractor.
After graduation, I learned that I couldn’t tolerate having a desk job. Sitting for most of the day hurt my back. I needed to either stand up or lie down. When I became a teacher, my back didn’t hurt because I was on my feet all day. However, I did end up standing through most of my credentialing classes and staff meetings. I probably should have gone to a chiropractor.
It wasn’t until I realized that I couldn’t sit and hold my fiancés hand through the length of a movie that I finally went to the chiropractor. I’m so glad I finally did. Now my fiancé is my husband and we go to the movies almost every week. We are even planning a cross-country road trip! There will be a lot of sitting, and it will feel great – thanks to Dr. Marks.

Dr. Marks is more than a chiropractor. He has treated my daughters and my granddaughter, each coming to him with complaints ranging from bizarre or unique to very common….even tragic. Each time he gave his very best, meeting, often exceeding the needs of the patient and the circumstances.
Since my first visit in 2000, Dr. Marks has treated “immobile fingers” (I can move them normally now), he has helped me regain strength in my arms and hands, and I rarely suffer from tension and stiffness in my neck and shoulders like I had for over 30 years. Dr. Marks has successfully treated my carpal tunnel syndrome and my lower and upper back, making it possible for me to avoid the surgery suggested by other doctors.
His genuine concern and dedication caused him to discover things from my x-rays and other tests that no other doctor had noticed. He helped me to understand my problems, but more importantly he helped them to improve. His kindness and compassion since the death of my son leave me speechless……and grateful.
